Botanical Name: Theobroma cacao

Country of Origin: West Africa

Method of Extraction: Pressed from the roasted beans

Color: Light Yellow

Properties: Semi Solid butter which melts on your skin has a subtle chocolate odour.

Uses: Skin care where due to its high fatty acid content (mainly stearic and oleic acids) it has soothing, softening and moisturising properties. Often used in skin care, quality soap and bath products for its emmoilent properties.

Can also be used in hair care although Shea Butter is thought more effective for this purpose.

Store sealed in a cool dark place.
